We believe that the education system was not designed to serve all children, and that the biggest barrier to all children having access to an excellent school is a lack of political will to improve the system. We believe the voices and experiences of parents, families, and students should be elevated and centered in decisions about education.

Redwood City Planning Commission Approves Rocketship Construction
Parents packed the room at the Redwood City Planning Commission meeting to ask them to approve construction of a permanent facility for Rocketship Redwood City Prep. The school opened to students in fall 2015, but still hasn’t been able to break ground on their permanent facility.
