This fall, several Fellows from Innovate Public Schools’ Fellowship program launched new public schools across the Bay Area. Innovate works with educators from both school districts and charter schools to start new, high-quality public schools and redesign chronically low-performing schools through our Fellowship, which launched in 2013.

This fall, Fellows launched several new schools: Alpha Cindy Avitia High School, ACE Inspire Middle School (San Jose) and Voices Morgan Hill. Two schools launched by Fellowship graduates opened in fall of 2014: Rocketship Fuerza Community Prep and ACE Franklin-McKinley Middle School.

The 2014-15 cohort of the Fellowship also includes school leaders from three existing district schools in Redwood City, Santa Clara and San Jose who are implementing their redesign plans this school year, as well as the new principal at Voices College Bound Language Academy’s flagship school and the founding principal of ACE Creative Arts Academy, which launched in fall 2014.
