Innovate Public Schools staff have a wide range of experience with designing and leading high-quality schools that they share with local school leaders through our Start-up Schools Fellowship.

Soon they will be taking some of that expertise to wider audience in a series of three deep dive workshops at the California Charter Schools Association Conference, March 16-19 in Sacramento. Amanda Gardner, Sarah Tucker and Jose Arenas from Innovate are teaming with Shara Hegde, Executive Director of Cornerstone Academy, to lead the workshops:

Common Sense School Design Track: 3 Super Levers for Academic Excellence

  • Part 1: Creating a Culture of Academic Rigor, Urgency and High Expectations for Student Achievement and Culture
  • Part 2: Parent Leadership and Engagement
  • Part 3: Holding the High Bar for Instruction and Supporting Teachers and Students to Get There
