Last month, we shared that our Innovate Public Schools parent leaders have joined the Yes on H campaign to raise funds for all the public elementary and middle schools in Redwood City, to bring more money into classrooms and to support teachers and students.

Join us this Sunday at 11:30 am in Red Morton Park for an Innovate-led training about Measure H and how to engage voters to support it. If you’ve never volunteered on a campaign before, this is a great way to build your skills and knowledge and meet other families.

Then stay for the Yes on H Campaign Kick-off Event from 1-2:30, and join other Redwood City community leaders, citizens and parents as we kick off the campaign to provide local funding for our elementary and middle schools that can’t be taken by the state! The campaign leaders will share information about Measure H and ways to get involved.

We will end the day by volunteering at the Fiestas Patrias celebration of many Latino countries and Mexican Independence in Redwood City’s Courthouse Square starting at 3pm.

Join us at 11:30 for the training, even if you can’t stay for the later events. Together, we can make sure the kids and schools of Redwood City get the funding they deserve!
