Bio

Claire Fisher is the founder and CEO of The Arena Inc, a national nonprofit organization that strengthens the school to work pipeline. The organization works with public schools, institutes of higher education and alternative training programs, employers, funders and policymakers to create more connectivity from K12 to workforce and build career pathways and talent pipelines for overlooked young people.

She was the recipient of the Stanford Graduate School of Business’s Social Innovation Fellowship award and founded the organization within Stanford’s Center for Social Innovation, and it has served tens of thousands of students to date across seven states.

She was formerly a Teach for America Corps member and high school math teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator in New Orleans at Collegiate Academies, where her students outperformed the state average. She also has worked at the Charter School Growth Fund and Education Pioneers. She is committed to a career in education and economic mobility.

Claire earned her Master’s degree from Stanford Graduate Schools of Business and Education as well as Relay Graduate School of Education, and has a bachelor’s degree in political science and ethics in society from Stanford University.
