The Parent Empowerment Forum on Special Education will highlight the best practices of high-achieving special education around the country, practices that can be implemented in your school district. At the Forum, you will connect with other families facing similar challenges and be given the tools to organize together for better special education at your school.

What: Parent Empowerment Forum on Special Education (Innovate Public Schools and Parents Helping Parents)

When: May 17th at 6:00 pm (dinner/registration), 6:30 – 8:00 pm (program)

Where: Sobrato Center for Nonprofits, 1400 Parkmoor Ave., San Jose

Who: All who care about children with special needs

• Spanish translation will be available

• Childcare is limited to 30 kids

• Everyone will receive a FREE copy of Innovate’s new publication: “An Advocate’s Guide to Transforming Special Education” (available in English or Spanish)
