Kyle Crowther began his journey in digital communications as a graphic design major at Loyola Marymount University. While at university, he cultivated his craft, gaining knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, photography, and necessary art/design principles. Unsatisfied with the minimum his education provided, Kyle took initiative and taught himself WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
Foremost, Kyle is a graphic designer, with a passion for design research and testing. However, years of experience revealed a natural talent for digital and social media marketing. Over several years, he leveraged many opportunities to test his expertise in both non-profit and commercial settings.
After getting inspired to shift back to a non-profit focus, Kyle discovered a position in digital communications at Innovate. As a black man, from a family of educators, Innovate’s mission and fight for education equity resonated deeply with him. Driven by projects that challenge his analytical creativity, everyday he looks forward to pushing Innovate Public School’s work further in print, web and beyond.
