Research and Policy Manager
Peter comes to his role as Research and Policy Manager with hands-on experience and a sophisticated policy analysis toolkit. He began his career as a college and career counselor working with out-of-school youth in Philadelphia. This experience inspired him to move into policy and advocacy, first by joining Philadelphia School Partnership, where he supported the development of a comprehensive guide to the city’s schools, GreatPhillySchools. Peter has also served as an Education Pioneers Summer Fellow with the San Francisco Unified School District. Peter holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Brown University and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Duke University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Sanford Journal of Public Policy. While at Duke he also completed coursework at the Center for Documentary Studies and served on the board of the Southern Documentary Fund. He is an avid runner, cyclist, and square dancer.
