Geraldine Anderson is a single, working mother of three. She became a parent leader with Innovate Public Schools in August of 2016 after having frustrating experiences with San Francisco Unified district schools.
Since then, she has helped lead large community events, recruited new parent leaders, testified at press conferences and school board meetings, and authored op-eds.
As a Deputy Court Clerk for the SF Superior Court and a former union leader, Geraldine often sees so many children who have been failed by the school system. She is motivated by a desire to see excellent schools for all children in her community.
